![]() Creepily, Vincent has two mandibles which go over his actual jaw and connect to resemble a normal jaw, he can open and close the mandibles at will. His face is almost entirely boney, he lacks a nose, and has two sunken eye sockets with glowing blue orbs for eyes. ![]() Vincent has shriveled greenish gray skin that has rotted and decayed to the point of him having a skeletal appearance. While there is no official measure of his height, he towers over all the other human characters in-game, easily being 8-9 feet tall. ![]() But soon, the cave begins to collapse, causing the crew to quickly take command of Vincent's ship, sailing it out of the cavern to the open sea.Ĭaptain Vincent is a tall, skeletal pirate captain dressed in extravagant captain's clothes, starkly contrasting with his rotten and monstrous appearance. Once disintegrated, Poseidon's Breath, which was swallowed by Vincent, falls onto the deck, finally being claimed by Captain Gilbert and his crew. After being defeated, Vincent visibly weakens, and then disintegrates into dust, letting out one last scream of agony before disappearing. Eventually, after firing enough bullets into him, Vincent is beaten by Eric and Leah. The Second Phase of the fight begins, with Vincent stumbling around the deck and mindlessly trying to bite at the player(s) like a rabid animal, all the while more ghostly skulls spawn around Vincent, flying at and attacking the player(s). After taking the blow, Vincent reels back as a horrific Lovecraftian monster emerges from his mouth. After the First Phase ends, Vincent is weakened and struggling to stand or walk, Eric and Leah take this opportunity to fire a ballista found by their crewmates directly at Vincent's chest. Half way through the first phase, Vincent begins to fly through the air, laughing at the player(s) as he spawns ghostly skulls to bite the heroes. The First Phase of the fight has Vincent teleporting around the deck of his ship, using his swords to slash at Eric and Leah, as well as summoning his skeletal crew to charge at the player(s). Eric and Leah draw their weapons as Vincent swallows Poseidon's Breath and harnesses its power, beginning the games' final battle. It's not known how he died, but after his demise, Vincent and his skeleton crew would go on to guard the island and Poseidon's Breath from would-be treasure hunters.Īs the player(s) arrive on Vincent's ship, which is confusingly named "Poseidon's Breath," the same name as the artifact they're hunting, Eric sees their goal, being the magical gemstone known as "Poseidon's Breath." Captain Heath Gilbert admires the artifact, but is soon attacked by Vincent, who reveals himself and kicks Captain Gilbert across the deck. Some way or another, he, his ship, and crew ended up on the mystical island where the game takes place. ![]() Not much is known about Vincent's life, but at some point while he was alive, he obtained the treasured artifact known as "Poseidon's Breath." It is unknown exactly how he acquired or used Poseidon's Breath in life, but judging by his large ship and the piles of gold aboard it, he used the artifact to amass a great amount of treasure. He is an undead skeletal captain with several magical abilities, including flight, teleportation, and the ability to summon and command the undead. Undead Pirate Captain Vincent is the main antagonist in Deadstorm Pirates.
